Jamye's bio: I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 109150). My passion is in working with individuals and couples on issues around love, sex, gender, and relationship styles. I really enjoy working with clients who are willing to explore their relationship with their sexuality, identity, gender, early attachment, romance and love, concepts around monogamy or other alternative relationship styles, parenting styles, relationship to pornography, anxiety and those who are going through an existential crises. My approach is open, honest, directive and objective. And while I specialize in sex therapy, I do all sorts of therapy.
I have my MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, and I am currently finishing my PhD in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University. I’ve also completed the San Francisco Sex Information training and am the former President of Feminists for Free Expression.
In addition to being a licensed therapist, I am a sex educator, author, former podcaster and talk radio producer. My latest book is called "How to Break Up With Anyone." My other books include "Getting Off: A Woman's Guide to Masturbation," and "Hot Sex: Over 200 Things You Can Try Tonight."
